DMX Coaches Challenge System FAQs

Appetite suppressants usually give me that “jittery” feeling. Is that what I should expect with DMX Appetite Control?
Absolutely not! DMX Appetite Control contains no stimulants at all. As a matter of fact, when we were working on the formulation, the lab urged us to use an all-natural stimulant, because all the other clients were doing so. We declined because the DMX Life Coaches’ Approach is to give your body what it needs, nutrients, minerals, botanicals and even the building blocks of the “feel good” chemicals for your body to build its own good mood.

By the way, that “jittery” feeling is also called “stress.” In fact, what many people call “energy” (from appetite suppressants or energy drinks) is really just your body’s response to stress. When you’re trying to lose weight, the last thing your body needs is more stress! Well, ice cream cake is the last thing your body needs, but stress ranks in the top 10 of Last Things You Need!

I love the information on your videos. Can you recommend any other resources for me to learn more about eating healthy?
I’m happy to! One book I love is Dr. Don Colbert’s Eat This and Live. He and I share similar philosophies about nutrition. This brings me to a quick reminder. As you’re choosing what to eat each day, remember to purposefully include a selection of fresh, raw foods. Make your snacks crunchy veggies and try to choose lower-glycemic fruits (like berries) when you want something sweet.

How does the Aloe Herbal Cleanse help me lose weight?
The Aloe Herbal Cleanse helps heal your digestive system, so that your body is able to get more nutrients from the food you eat and digest foods better. Imagine a machine that has been “gunked up” by the sludgy processed foods that are the staple of our Standard American Diet. (And did you notice that the acronym is SAD?) For the machine to function well you can’t just add new oil, you have to de-sludge it. I worked with DynaMAXX to formulate a cleanse that will help heal your digestive system, as well as work gently over several nights. The ingredients were chosen to help create an environment in your body that aids you in losing weight.

I just read the quote, “If it’s white, it’s not right.” Does that mean baked potatoes with veggie toppings aren’t good for me?
While a baked white potato with veggies can be a low calorie meal choice, I don’t recommend them for the DMX Life Coaches’ Challenge. That’s because the starchy white potato quickly converts to glucose, which causes a blood sugar spike in many people. On the Challenge, it’s best to eat lean proteins and complex carbohydrates.

I don’t understand why I can’t just lose weight by budgeting calories for the foods I like. It’s all about calories in and calories out, right?
Yes and no. It’s true that you do have to base your calorie intake on how many you will use in a day. (And don’t worry if you think there’s no way you can even eat, since you don’t exercise much. Your body uses some calories just from breathing, getting out of bed and showering.)

But remember that some calories carry toxins with them, as well as energy. Processed foods, such as bread, pasta, sugary sweets and even some lunch meats, don’t offer your body what it needs to thrive: good nutrition to nourish your cells as well as give you energy. Instead, it offers chemicals that may make your metabolism more sluggish and even affect how your body processes insulin.

Sure, a candy bar has about the same amount of calories as an apple + a banana + an orange. But the candy bar won’t nourish your cells (other than your fat cells) and it won’t offer your body fiber to aid in digestion.

So in addition to the fruit giving your body a greater volume of food than the candy bar does, it also ensures that your immune system has what it needs to help fight disease, helps your body eliminate waste and gives you more energy than the highly processed candy bar.

I’ve never heard of “neurotransmitter precursors.” Could you please give me a quick explanation on them, which I can share with prospective customers?
Absolutely! A neurotransmitter precursor is basically a building block to create a neurotransmitter, such as serotonin. Our bodies need serotonin to feel happy, but we can’t simply put serotonin into a product and consume it. That’s because the serotonin would be broken down in our digestive system. But, we can consume the elements our bodies need to create serotonin. Those elements, once in our digestive system, are sent where they’re needed and used to create that essential neurotransmitter, and we’re able to feel happy. The DMX Appetite Control Capsules contain these essential building blocks called neurotransmitter precursors.

Can we eat pork while on the DMX Challenge?
While a massive “other white meat” campaign makes most pork seem healthy, you should avoid ribs and chops while one the DMX challenge. If you want to enjoy pork, stick to lean pork loin and tenderloin. Be sure to trim off any visible fat from the meat.

What are antioxidants and why is everyone talking about them?
The world we live in today has so many toxins, from food preservatives to chemical air pollution. Of course, since these are relatively new to the earth, our bodies haven’t evolved to deal with these. So, the cells in our body oxidize, and lose an electron. These same cells then try to steal an electron from a healthy cell, much like the Pac-man video game would gobble up dots. Antioxidants offer these “hungry” cells an additional electron, so it doesn’t have to steal one! Living in today’s toxin-rich environment means we should make it a priority to consume antioxidants. Fortunately, DynaMAXX’s Lights ON & Lights OFF products are a significant source of a variety of antioxidants. I recommend that my patients consume both products, daily.
